Industrial Background
Mycropaths Technologies was founded in 2004 by Clayton Johnson, Ph.D.. Dr. Johnson serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).

Clayton Johnson, Ph.D.
Dr. Johnson completed his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin. He obtained both B.A. and B.S. degrees in Zoology (cum laude) and chemistry (respectively), and completed the requirements for a B.A. in biochemistry. Dr. Johnson also obtained a Masters of Science in Biology and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson Texas. He began his professional scientific career at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biology in Berlin, Germany.

Most recently, Dr. Johnson is an assistant professor in medical research at the UAMS Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Dr. Johnson's research experiences span such diverse areas as plant and microbial molecular biology, microbiology and medical mycology, and more recently the areas of diabetes and Alzheimer’s pathogenesis. While his research expertise is quite broad, his work focuses on molecular biology and biochemical aspects of disease pathogenesis.
